Destiny is a four year old registered Arabian mare.  She was halter broke and trailer trained when she went to the Loyd's for training. Destiny was afraid of everything from noise to fast movements and was hard to control. She was definitely a handful and would spook, rear, and try to bolt from fear. She really disliked being handled in every aspect. She didn't like to be touched, especially on her hindquarters and legs. The Loyd's spent several hours on trimming her hooves and calming her down in the month that they had her for training. They did a great job. When I picked her up from them she had changed so much! She would stand tied, pick up her feet, accept a pad and saddle easily, and a bridle and bit. She could even be ridden....which was amazing due to the fact that Destiny was so afraid of everything. Again, the Loyd's did a great job in the month that they had her. I went from their place to the Kansas State Fair, where I showed Destiny and she did wonderful. If I ever need help again, I will definitely send my horse to them!

Dear Dustin and Lisa,

I can't tell you how pleased I am with the 30 days of training you put into my three year old stallion, Didrik. What a transformation!! From a pushy halter-broke and distrustful/insecure boy, he is now a much more friendly, confident, responsive, and respectful horse. His ground manners are greatly improved, he gives his feet easily, and that oh-so-important "stand" is very solid. He lunges and follows voice commands, stands  quietly for saddling and mounting, is easy to bridle, and is a willing and happy participant under saddle. It is clear that you gently trained him into all of this, he was not coearced or beaten into submission. His positive training experience has made him eager to learn more and try to please me. I really appreciate how you took the time to show me what you had done and how Didrik worked, both in the round pen and out. You were up front and honest about everything. There were no cover-ups or mirages, Didrik works just as well as he did at home as he did at your training facility. You have laid an excellent foundation for me to go trail riding now and work with Didrik on more advanced skills development in the future. The two of you make an excellent training team and I hope more horse owners take advantage of your training services. Thank you for a job well done!

I purchased Ruby Lou from the Loyd's in August. She is a 2 1/2 year old red roan mare that they had previously rescued. Ruby has been just wonderful. She is very young, and was initially dealt a rough start in the world, but the Loyd's did an excellent job in getting her trained and re-acclimated to humans. I give my children rides on  her, and have been riding her through town into work on Fridays. I so much appreciate the care and concern that Dustin and Lisa show each of the horses.  They were completely honest about everything, charged a fair price, and as a result have a 100% satisfied customer. Thanks for what you do.

I wanted to thank you so much for the work you put in re-training my 11 year old gelding! He is totally a different horse now and I know that he and I will have the chance to become best friends.
As I told you when I hired you, I couldn't imagine keeping a horse I couldn't enjoy. After having been bucked off and having him freak out when I tried to put the bit in his mouth, I was at the end of my personal experience rope and patience with Shade. Now he is such a sweetheart and his manners are incredible. I have been continuing his ground work in my make shift round pen and he does so good it makes me wonder what you did with my old horse, LOL! No more fits (like putting the bit in his mouth), kicking, bucking, and at the end of each session he comes to me without much effort. I have gained a great deal of trust in him and him in me. Having had the opportunity to come out to your place and have you guide me in his training and learning things that I didn't understand has also been invaluable. I couldn't be happier with his improvement and new personality! Honestly Lisa, I think your fees are too low! You guys do such a great job and you need to charge accordingly. Thanks again and if I can do anything for you please let me know!
